Meet Charlotte
Hi, I’m Charlotte!
I’m an academic coach and tutor who loves to help students achieve their goals whether they are struggling with reading, preparing for the SAT or even practicing for a job interview.
Students who choose to work with me enjoy the fun, yet focused environment that is created. I am a patient, knowledgeable and focused learning partner for those who want to grow.
For the past five years, I have been teaching and tutoring students privately, across various subjects and levels. I have been certified as a K-12 English as a Second Language Teacher.
I graduated from Howard University, with a major in Psychology. I was one of the few undergraduate students to be a co-author of an article in a peer-reviewed journal by the time I graduated. I went on to work in language development research for three and a half years.
In my spare time, I enjoy going out to eat, dancing and learning new things.
I was born in Indianapolis, Indiana. I have spent time living in Washington, DC, Atlanta, Georgia and Ft. Lauderdale, FL. I currently live in Brooklyn, New York with my partner and son.
