Reading Fluency:
Increase Reading Level:
Reading is a skill that develops overtime. One doesn’t become an excellent reader overnight. Sometimes students and families need extra support to maintain growth. That’s where CTT comes in.
Reading tutoring is different from what most may think. Many think that hiring a reading tutor is all they have to do to see improvement and that no other support is needed. However, to improve reading it is necessary to have hours and hours of practice. As a family seeking reading support for their student, the responsibility falls on the family to practice new words and reading everyday.
During the reading tutoring sessions with CTT, the student will read stories based on their ability. Depending on the level, comprehension questions will be asked. The tutor will then assign words at the end of each session to practice. Improving the reading skill is no less than a group effort with the family, student and tutor. With quality teamwork, some may see an improvement in as little as three months.
